Obama & McCain Win in Wisconsin

By Peter Hart
Tuesday, Feb 19 2008, 12:39 PM

With none of the precincts reporting, 24 hours News & Video (in West Allis)

has declared Obama & McCain winners of the WI primary election.

McCain, who was in Cleveland and who was running unopposed (really) didn’t bother to comment saying “I thought the Wisconsin Primary was last week”

Obama, was thankful saying, “this is a great tide of hope for the future and we

will continue to challenge ourselves, each day, to be as hopeful as yesterday and

even more hopeful tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow ………..”

Voters are still encouraged to vote, even if is meaningless, to receive the sticker

of smugness for voting.

74 delegates should go to the winners, unless they are super delegates and they will go

to the highest bidder.

Ten reasons to vote for John McCain

By Peter Hart
Monday, Feb 18 2008, 01:25 PM

He’s really old and we would have to pay retirement pension for very long

He pronounces terror “terror” (not “tear”)

Real republicans don’t like him

John’s not from Texas- although eastern Arizona is alot like west Texas

He invented the octagon (and fought Chuck Norris in it)

He said he would follow Ben Laden to Hell and kill him (if Cheney doesn’t get to him first).

His middle name is Norman

He won’t take away your guns (even if they are illegal)

He will make illegal aliens work if they want to live in American

His spouse is better looking than Hillary’s

Free Fish Fry this Friday!

By Peter Hart
Wednesday, Feb 13 2008, 08:19 AM

There is a free fish fry this Friday at Serb Hall starting at 7:00pm.

The Citizens for Moderate Taxation is sponsoring a free fish fry

as well as a little speech from Presidential hopeful John McCain.

Abner Doubleday, chairman of Citzens for Moderate Taxation, came

up with the idea of a free fish fry to drum up support for John McCain.

Doubleday said “we were kind of worried that no one would show up

for McCain’s visit and that would hurt his feelings so we decided to

give away free fry (like Jesus would do).”   We want a full hall to show

that McCain can compete with Obama who had over 17,000 at the Kohl

Center on Tuesday”.

In a related story, Kimberly Clark announced that it’s employees will give

John McCain $1,000,000 for his campaign.  KC also announced that it

is working with McCain on a new campaign slogan “Depend on John”

McCain has agreed to wear Depends from now until Election Day.

McCain said that it would give him extra 15 hours to campaign instead of

sitting on the can.  “Just think of the voters I can get in 15 more hours”

“Depends” Now with Calcium!

Vote, it does a body good!

City Snow plowers deserve thanks

By Peter Hart
Thursday, Feb 7 2008, 08:24 AM

In a once-in-a-decade Snow event, the City Snowplowers did an outstanding job.

I can't image the hours taken, but all the major streets and most of the side streets look good (which is amazing)

Many times I complain when one or two things go wrong, today, public works did an outstanding job

with the mess nature dumped on us.    Bill, thank your plow guys/gals--they do good work!

PS.  Tell them to get some sleep--more snow acoming.

Punxsutwney Phil predicts Global Warming

By Peter Hart
Saturday, Feb 2 2008, 08:48 AM

Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow today because his eyes were stuck closed due to a severe sinus head cold.   Observers were saying that means winter will be shorter, however a really old Iroquois Indian who was attending the event was very disturbed.  “Tommy” not the Indian's real name, said “this is a sign—and not a good sign”   Tommy said that the great Chief Nuyourfac warned that the some day the groundhog will come out with no eyes and that would mean the big sun would come out and not leave, the great ice will melt, water will flow and crops will die.   All will suffer.  Pennsylvanian’s were shocked and asked Tommy if there was anything that could be done to save the land, Tommy said only that it was our problem and if we wouldn’t have replaced the horse, this would not have happen.

After couple of hours some men in black suits took Tommy away and he hasn’t been seen since.

Al Gore couldn't be reached for comment.
