Get ready for Polish Fest and polka music as the Bay View Neighborhood Association and the Milwaukee County Parks present The Squeezettes at Chill on the Hill this week! The Syrena Polish Folk Dance Ensemble and Syrenka Polish Children’s Folk Dance Ensemble kick off the evening at 6:00 pm, so don’t be late!
It all happens Tuesday night at the Humboldt Park bandshell. Bring a lawnchair, a blanket and a friend and lounge on the lawn; parking is plentiful and the Milwaukee County Parks concessions truck will be on-hand for refreshments.
The Squeezettes are comprised of former members of The Riverwest Accordion Club and are sure to provide the polka-fix you need - check them out at www.squeezettes.com. You can find more info on Syrena and Syrenka at www.syrenadancers.com and www.syrenkachildrenspolishdancers.org.
The Bay View Neighborhood Association would like to extend a special thank you to Polish Fest – enter to win Polish Fest tickets at the BVNA booth to complete your Polish experience. More thanks go out to Veritas Church, who has generously sponsored Chill on the Hill’s June entertainment. Visit them online at www.veritasunderground.com.
